EVA Encapsulant from Solar Panel Recycling
CompuPoint USA recovers EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) encapsulant from end-of-life crystalline silicon solar panels processed on our Solar 4.0 line in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We're looking for recyclers, compounders and manufacturers who can use this material.
What the material is
In a solar panel, thin EVA film bonds the glass, cells and backsheet together. During processing, it comes out laminated to the PET backsheet as an EVA/PET composite, after the glass, frame, cells and metals have been removed.
