PET Backsheet from Solar Panel Recycling
CompuPoint USA recovers PET backsheet material from end-of-life crystalline silicon solar panels processed on our Solar 4.0 line in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We're looking for recyclers, compounders and manufacturers who can use this material.
What the material is
The backsheet is the protective plastic layer on the back of a solar panel, mostly PET (polyethylene terephthalate). It comes out of our process bonded to the EVA encapsulant, as an EVA/PET composite
